About Dr. Cappie Baker

Dr. Cappie Baker is passionate about health, fitness and nutrition and is an endurance athlete and marathoner. She enjoys cycling, swimming and yoga. As a supporter of Train4Autism, Dr. Baker is inspired by the strength of families and friends living with Autism who are in some way challenged physically, mentally or both. This created a desire to channel her inner passion, strength and love for health and fitness into helping those who have taught her so much and who have given her great joy.

During her free time Dr. Baker enjoys cooking, leisurely hikes in the local mountains and canyons and traveling with family and friends.

Dr. Baker graduated from dental school in 1984 from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee at the top of her class. She completed a combined specialty program in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry from UCLA School of Dentistry in 1987 and also received a Master’s of Science degree in Oral Biology. Dual certification in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry helps Dr. Baker offer a broad-based treatment that addresses the needs of all age groups.
